Dave Littrell Band Album Release Date and Summer Outdoor Shows - June 21, 2011

Planet Playground Records is happy to announce Dave Littrell's debut solo album "Now I See" will be available internationally Tuesday July 26th. Pre-order bundles will go on sale Tuesday July 5th. Join the DLB mailing list at http://www.davelittrell.com July will find the Dave Littrell Band making two outdoor appearances. First, the band will perform from 7:30-8:30pm at the yearly 4th of July celebration Rock the Dock at the Lake Springfield Marina.  Ticket details can be found at WQLZ.com.  And two weeks later, they'll be taking the stage at the Chatham Sweet Corn Festival in Chatham, IL from 7-8pm.

Dave Littrell Band Announces April Dates - March 19, 2011

The newly formed Dave Littrell Band will be performing two dates in April in the band's hometown of Springfield, IL. The band's official debut will be a free show April 2nd at Celtic Mist, 117 S. 7th St at 9pm. Given Dave's Scottish heritage, it felt fitting to debut the group in one of Springfield's favorite Celtic Pubs!

Saturday April 16th the band returns for a special "Save the Hoogland Center" benefit concert at the Hoogland Center for the Arts, 420 S. 6th St. and will feature the DLB, the Micah Walk Band, and the Blue G's. The concert is being presented by SALMA, the Springfield Area Local Music Association, a non-profit aiming to draw attention to the Springfield music scene. 50% of the proceeds will go directly into the hands of the Hoogland Center in their efforts to continue to support the arts in Springfield. Doors open at 7pm and the all ages show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $8.
